Before Apollo 11....There Was This Voyage to the Moon

I have always loved the 1902 french silent movie “A Trip to the Moon” (French: Le Voyage dans la Lune), alternately Voyage to the Moon. It is based on two popular novels of the time: Jules Verne's From the Earth to the Moon and H. G. Wells' The First Men in the Moon and was created by Georges Méliès.

Take the few minutes to watch this. You are sure to smile.
